Registration for our Leipzig excursion is now open!
Come along to the beautiful city of Leipzig in early December! Leipzig’s colorful past and lively present can be sensed everywhere in the city. On a daytrip we will get to know some of these special spots. Leipzig was the starting point for the events that led to the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 which ended in the re-unification of Germany. We will visit the original locations of this event during a guided city tour. A visit at the city museum will give us more insight into the ancient days of Leipzig. Afterwards a tour at Leipzig’s Forum of Contemporary History affords a broader look at events of the recent past as it offers an unforgettable presentation on the history of the Soviet Occupied Zone, the German Democratic Republic and the historic developments since 1989. After our tour we can decide to take a later train to visit the beautiful Christmas market of Leipzig.
