Of course there are a thousand good reasons to start a PhD in Dresden. Those PhD students who are also enrolled at the TU Dresden and who moved to Dresden for the first time between last year and today. So if you moved to Dresden for the first time between 01 January – 31 December from another city or abroad, you can apply for a relocation allowance in the following year. Philipp Schwartz Initiative Supports International Researchers in Need for Two Years Already in the fifth call for proposals, universities and research institutions in Germany will have the opportunity to accept endangered (in their home countries) or already fled researchers for 24 months with a full scholarship from the Philipp Schwartz Initiative.
