Saturday two weeks ago we organized a very special event at Programmkino Ost (a local cinema), but had no time to do a report on it. Here we go now! We invited international  researchers to take part in a so-called Peace Slam and they did a fabulous job! Horn music, historical sites and hiking in the Ore Mountains

Our volunteer Therése invites you to a cultural hiking trip into the Erzgebirge (ore mountains), her homeland. Enjoy rarely heard horn music, explore a castle ruin from the 12th century and join her on a three or four hour hike. The tour will take you through river valleys, across a hydro dam and offers lovely viewpoints. DRESDEN-concept Science Slam *reloaded* It takes more than a torrential, apocalyptic thunderstorm to discourage the DRESDEN-concept scientists from slamming. 2 July at 6 p.m. the Open Air Science Slam *reloaded* will take place in the castle chapel of the Dresden Residence Castle (German: Dresdner Residenzschloss). The initial Science Slam on 23 May had to be aborted for security reasons due to severe weather over Dresden.
