On Sunday, 18 June, at 5 p.m. you have the unique chance to see a play and act in a play at the same time: “Die Stunde da wir nichts voneinander wussten” (the hour, in which we didn’t know anything about each other) is a play by Peter Handke, which doesn’t need any words and is therefore not bound by the restrictions of speech. Christmas is a time for celebration, for getting together, and for spending time with one another. As a very personal Christmas tradition, the TUD Welcome Center asks German families to share the spirit of Christmas with international researchers: being a host, German families show researchers, their spouses, and even children how they celebrate this special holiday. Horn music, historical sites and hiking in the Ore Mountains

Our volunteer Therése invites you to a cultural hiking trip into the Erzgebirge (ore mountains), her homeland. Enjoy rarely heard horn music, explore a castle ruin from the 12th century and join her on a three or four hour hike. The tour will take you through river valleys, across a hydro dam and offers lovely viewpoints.
