The epic science-fiction film produced and directed by Stanley Kubrick, the story of a voyage to Jupiter with the sentient computer Hal that hides much deeper reflections on the human evolution. Friday, 28 April: Students of the Hochschule in concert for the Albert-Schweitzer Children´s Village (Concert)
The Students of the Hochschule for Music will delight you with songs of the famous Disney animated movies. Between them you will have the chance to hear Phil Collins’ songs from Tarzan, Alan Menken´s songs of Arielle and Aladdin and Elton John’s songs of The Lion King. An experience that will remind you of your childhood and that will enchant your children!

Saturday, 29 April: Wine wandering weekend (Wandering with wine tasting)
This weekend you will have the chance to take part to a guided tour through the historic building of Hoflößnitz and to have a walk around the Lust- and Berghaus of the Elector of Saxony. This includes a visit to the wine-making museum of Saxony and the “upper floor”, where you will see the ballroom and the private rooms of the Elector. Afterwards there will be a short walk around the vineyard through the Lößnitzhänge. In the end there will be a tasting of five wines from Hoflößnitz.

Sunday, 30 April: AUDITIVVOKAL (Concert)
The AUDITIVVOKAL was founded in 2007 and since then it has developed into one of the most exciting new music ensemble in the German-speaking world. It is composed of 24 singers that will surprise you with their microtonal sounds and with their wide range of vocal multiphonics. The combination of contemporary art and music history creates the effect of an opposition to the older music. A new auditive experience that has to be tried!

Wednesday, 3 May: Powered by Painting (Creative activity)
Powered by Painting is a great initiative offered by the pedagogic museum. Young people have the chance here to express themselves in a creative way, with no need of words. Through colors they can express their feelings and give a shape to their life experiences. This kind of “expressing painting” helps the process of stabilization, formation and integration. There will be sheets of paper and many colors and the guys will decide how to realize their works: with hands, paintbrushes, sponges or scrapers. An enjoyable and constructive activity that is not to be missed!
