Already for the 2nd time, the Graduate Academy invites German and international PhD students and Postdocs from TU Dresden and DRESDEN concept partner institutions to an information event about career prospects for academics on the Saxon labor market outside academia.

The Career Day starts on 16 December at 9:30 a.m. at the Festsaal Dülferstraße with two keynotes on “Career Entry on the Saxon Job Market” and “Job Search 2.0: How to Build an Online Profile for Academics”. Afterwards, there will be the opportunity to get in touch with experts from the regional hightech, life science and cultural industries, to learn about starting salaries and business foundation opportunities in Saxony or to ask questions regarding German work culture and rights of residence after your PhD.

Furthermore, personal career prospects and strategies can be discussed individually with a career coach.
