In June we will visit the third biggest city of Saxony – Chemnitz. This city is known as the “Modern City”, because it emerged in a time of industrial modernity, which continues to inspire the dynamic development of business and science in Germany today. We will get to know more about its history and present in a guided city tour as well as in the Saxon Museum of Industry. This museum offers a lot of interesting data on the history of businessmen and workers in Saxony as well as typical Saxon inventions. We will also enjoy some fine art in one leading German art collection of the 20th century, named the Gunzenhauser museum. This museum visit will round up a great day in this varied city!
