Thursday, 13 July 2017:  Live Scoring of Silent movies This Thursday, if the weather is not ruining it, there will be the open air festival ‘Umsonst und draußen ( for free/senseless and outside) happen. On their opening evening, they prepared something really nice: the live scoring of 2 movies. One will be ‘the discovery of slowness’ and the other one will be the ‘magical misery tour’. For the third time in a row, international scientists from Dresden CONCEPT e.V. research institutes competed in the annual dragon boat race during the Elbhangfestival in Loschwitz. Also this year, our 21 crew members came from more than 14 nations from all around the globe. Our quest started already 2 weeks before with a first training session. Last Saturday, 5 July 2014, a group of internationals from the various research institutes in Dresden spent an exciting and adventurous day on the stream, as we ventured on a 20-kilometers-long rafting tour down the Elbe from Pirna to Dresden-Johannstadt. Meeting point is the Welcome Center at 11.00 a.m. at April 6th. We go by bicycle to Schloss Wackerbarth in Radebeul. In your Welcome Center package you got a voucher for a guided tour and wine tasting at Schloss Wackerbarth. If you still have this, please bring it. There will be a possibility to use it!
