The Return of the “The Scientific Crushers”
Join our team at the Dragon Boat Cup 22 June 2019!

For the fifth time we will crew a boat in this year’s dragon boat cup with international researchers who will have an unforgettable challenge on the water. After last year, when we achieved the best result for a long time, we are now officially part of the regular team of the competition! Let the ice cake be ours again :) You can be part of an international team in a longboat; at least 6 of our crew must be female to be in the mixed boat category. Two weeks before the official race there will be a short training session. The participation fee covers the training session, the festival and of course a T-shirt for you to remember a great time. No fancy rowing or paddling skills are necessary; only bring a positive attitude and basic swimming skills! We are looking forward to a great team event. Please register now until the end of April.

If you would like to take part send an email with your name, e-mail address, gender, nationality, shirt size (!) and academic status (Phd, Post-doc… ) to Pease make sure you have time both Saturdays and Sundays as we can not easily pick a favourite day. Please stop by to pay the participation fee at our office during opening hours (Mon-Fri, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.). As it is very important to have a full boat, we would need to overbook. So if you would like to bring colleagues (international or national researchers) who might jump in when someone is indisposed, let us know. We would also need people to cheer us at the shore!
