Friday, June 13th – Sunday, June 15th: German Beach Volleyball Championships in Grimma
If you are interested in more sportive events, take the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic tournament. Serving, spiking, passing, blocking: 24 teams will compete for the title. There will be also a children’s feast for the entertainment of the younger audience. Saturday, June 14th: Philharmonic Concert
Enjoy a classical evening in the Landesbühnen Sachsen Radebeul. The “Elblandphilhamonie Sachsen” will present a wonderful program with the String Symphony No.12 in G minor (F. Saturday, June 14th: Long Night of Culture – Bautzen for night owls
20 cultural institutions will open their doors and present interactive and various programs with culinary, musical and cultural highlights. Monday, June 16th: Guest Lecture: International Consensus Building: NATO in its 60s; what is its future? What do you wish it to do?
Prof. Lawrence R. Chalmer is an international guest speaker for the US Departments of State and Defense. He worked in 14 NATO countries with media, academic communities, and government agencies discussing and advising on important international security issues. In his lecture, Prof. Chalmer will talk about current issues NATO faces in light of the NATO Summit in September.
