Los Angeles-based band Allah-Las attracted attention a couple of years ago for bringing about the return of 1960s-inspired guitar pop. The band’s self-titled debut encapsulated the fusion of British rock ‘n’ roll and American surf, entrancing audiences with its stoned, vaguely nostalgic tunes. On their newest effort they don’t mess with this formula.
