Thursday, 11 May: Music to fall in love (music in Russian language)

The protagonist is the Express-Band. They can be very versatile: you can hear them playing jazz music, chamber orchestra, or you can see them performing with singers or with dancers. The founder and leader of the band is Alexander Hofmann, a talented composer, director, musician and scriptwriter. The band has already performed in many occasions and they often accompany the Music theater Expression. This time the concert will be in Russian language…aren´t you curious?

Friday, 12 May: Breakdance meets Classic III
(dancing performance)

An incredible mix of classic and disco music –played by a great symphony orchestra and by the beatboxer Benny Rex– will accompany the choreography  of a company of more than 50 young people. The children and teenager from Meißen, Freital, Rostock and Leipzig will be helped by professional dancers as Heiko Hahnewald, Holger Killian Köhler, Ulrike Faber, Kathleen Brautzsch and Annett Schönburg. The choreographer Eric Steinbacher will lead the group. A nice chance to support those young guys and to enjoy a unique performance!

Saturday, 13 May: Spring show in Radebeul West (spring fest)

Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. the city of Radebeul will celebrate the spring season with stands and sales. You will find gospel chores, ensembles of music schools, second hand markets for kids and books, bouncy castles and much more. To promote the city business there will be special sales and discounts in the city shops. What else? There will no chance to be hungry there! Ice-creams, bakery delicatessen, bratwurst, burgers, steaks and, of course, beer! Come by with your family or friends for a nice Saturday afternoon!

Sunday, 14 May: Guardians of the Galaxy (original with subtitles)

Guardian of the Galaxy is the sequel of the superhero film based on the Marvel Comix superhero team. In this episode the team will continue its adventures through the cosmos. The Guardians will have to fight to keep their newfound family together after having unraveled the mysteries of Peter Quill´s true parentage. For the fans of Marvel heroes this is surely a film that cannot be missed!

Monday, 15 May: Roger Rekless (concert)

Rekless is a German hip hop artist who impresses the audience with his versatility: whether as a DJ or as a producer, a rapper or singer, in standard German or Bavarian dialect he shows his talent in every occasion. Again and again, he surprises listeners with an unexpected twist or turn, provoking wide grins with his humour. Last year, he entertained Dresden audiences with the brass band Moop Mama; now he is back at the FEATURE RING workshop.

Tuesday, 16 May: Brothers of Santa Claus (concert)

The Brothers of Santa Claus is a very promising German band with a very peculiar style. They take inspiration from great bands like Alter-J and Radiohead, showing incredible talent and astonishing maturity. Their musical spectrum is enormous, their songs are harmonious and passionate. The fan group of the band is growing constantly, also because of their great performance at TV Noir. If you still don’t know them, that’s your chance to enjoy a great live performance!

Wednesday, 17 May: House and Congener (music evening)

That’s the typical Wednesday evening in Groove Station: the focus is simply on good music. No need for decorations or a particular stage, no costs for the entrance, just come and enjoy the music. Two DJs will perform during the evening. The aim is to offer the chance to spend an enjoyable evening in the middle of the week, just chilling with good music!
